Galileo GalileiGalileo Galilei, also known as Galileo, was one of the most important Italian scientist in Italy and probably in the world. He was born in Pisa in 1564, in the science world is considered “the father of modern science” due to his studies and discoveries in Physics and Astronomy.

His method was the base for the scientific revolution and this method was founded on inductive reasoning, a way of thinking that since from that moment, was not even considered by the other scientists. Galileo Galilei was also considered a philosopher, mathematician and engineer. He supported indirectly, but also directly, with his studies the Copernican theory of Heliocentrism. For this reason was investigated and tried by the roman inquisition for heresy and he was obliged to recant his position and live the rest of his life under house arrest. Galileo Galilei was a man, like many others genius, that can’t prevent himself from studying and thinking and his curiosity for life and science gave birth to a different perspective about universe, that nowadays affect the whole scientific world.
