Day 01: OUT-BOUND FLIGHT
Board your overnight flight to Italy.
Day 02: ROME
Arrive in Rome, Italy. Upon your arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport, you will transfer to your hotel in the historical city center where you will check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and begin to familiarize yourself with the Eternal City.
Day 03: ROME
After a good breakfast, the day begins with a half-day city tour led by an expert guide. You will take a pleasant stroll through the historical city center, admiring the famous Trevi Fountain, the historic Pantheon and Navona Square. Then by coach, you will head towards the Vatican, passing Castel Sant’Angelo, and the guide will take you to St. Peter's Basilica where you will admire one of Michelangelo's most magnificent works of art, "Pietà", and the interior of St. Peter's Basilica with its impressive dome and many chapels filled with art. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to shop and enjoy more sightseeing.
Days 04 - 05: ROME
After breakfast, you will have plenty of time to sight-see, shop, take day trips, visit museums, or just relax. Here are only a few of countless suggestions: visit of the Colosseum and Roman Forum (walking tour with skip the line entrance strongly recommended and can be arranged upon request), admire the Spanish Steps, or visit the Vittoriano Monument for an amazing 360 degree view of Rome from above. Fashion lovers may enjoy a stroll down Via Condotti, one of Rome's most fashionable and elegant streets, or find a good and unique deal in one of the many outdoor markets. For art enthusiasts, discover the immense treasures of the Vatican Museums including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel (walking tour with skip the line entrance strongly recommended and can be arranged upon request) or visit one of Rome's many other art museums such as the Borghese Gallery (advanced reservations required and can be arranged upon request).
Day 06 - 09: AMALFI COAST
Journey south by train to the spectacular Amalfi Coast for a 4-night stay in enchanting Sorrento with stunning vistas of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy time at leisure to explore towns such as Amalfi and Positano as well as the stunning island of Capri and ancient ruins of Pompeii. Perhaps spend a day discovering the lively city of Naples and its unique inhabitants at the bottom of Mt. Vesuvius.
Day 10: ROME
Return to Rome by train for an overnight stay at a hotel in Rome.
Day 11: RETURN FLIGHT
Transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport for your return flight home and end of our services.
