Agrigento is a large town located in beautiful Sicily. The town sites in the southwestern portion of the region and is just a scant distance from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Agrigento has a history dating all the way back to the 6th century BC, when it was one of the most prominent and important cities on the Mediterranean.
