Day 03: VENICE
After a good and healthy Italian breakfast, get ready to discover the architectural and artistic beauty of Venice. You will have plenty of time at leisure to stroll through the "calle" (typical, narrow streets) and numerous canals. Book a Half Day guided walking tour of Venice (ask your Trips2Italy travel specialist for details) for an exploration of the historical center of the city and its magnificent monuments: St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Prisons and the Bridge of Sighs. Perhaps take time to shop in the crafters’ boutiques and enjoy a great meal of fresh seafood.
Day 04: VENICE
Breakfast at the hotel and off again! You may take an excursion to Murano Island and visit a glass workshop to learn how the local artisans create a unique piece of glass art or visit Burano Island, renowned for its lace making tradition and colorful buildings. You can also continue your discovery of Venice and its artistic wonders, such as the Guggenheim Museum, which hosts a collection of 20th century art. Day 05: VENICE
After your last breakfast in Venice, join the locals around the Rialto Market, a lively market with fresh seafood and vegetables.
