Day 1
VICENZA

Arrive in Vicenza and check in to your hotel in the city center. Enjoy a welcome drink, then meet your guide for an afternoon walk through the refined “city of Palladio,” a small and often-overlooked jewel with a distinctly romantic atmosphere. Stroll through elegant streets and squares—Piazza Duomo, Corso Palladio lined with beautiful buildings, Piazza delle Erbe, and Piazza Castello—before visiting the extraordinary Teatro Olimpico, Palladio’s true work of art, completed after his death by his son. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Vicenza.
Day 2
VICENZA, VERONA
Romeo, Juliet and the Roman Stones
After breakfast, travel independently by car or train to Verona, the legendary city of Romeo and Juliet and one of Veneto’s great art cities—worthy of nearly a full day. Meet your guide for a half-day tour through the historic center, taking in Verona’s most iconic sights: Piazza Bra with its imposing Roman Arena, the lively Piazza delle Erbe, the Scaligere Arches, Juliet’s House, the castle, and the Basilica of San Zeno. After lunch on your own, enjoy the afternoon at leisure for shopping or, if you prefer, drive to nearby Lake Garda for a short excursion. In the evening, return to Vicenza for overnight.
Day 3
VICENZA, STRA, FUSINA
Venice on the Horizon
After breakfast, depart early by your own car for Stra. At 8:30 AM, meet your guide in front of Villa Pisani—often called the “Little Versailles” (optional visit, not included). At 10:30 AM, board a traditional Burchiello boat and cruise along the Brenta River, a classic Veneto experience that reveals some of the region’s most important Palladian villas from the water. Along the way, you may choose to visit Villa Barchessa Balmarana and Villa Foscari, famously known as “La Malcontenta” (optional visits, not included). After lunch on your own, continue toward Venice and enjoy a splendid lagoon-side panorama with views toward St. Mark’s Square. At 6:00 PM, the boat concludes in Fusina. Take the public bus arranged by the boat back to Stra to retrieve your rental car, then return to Vicenza for overnight.
Day 4
VICENZA
One Last Stroll
After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Vicenza as your Veneto journey comes to an end. Depart with memories of Palladian elegance, Verona’s romance, and a river cruise that delivered Venice’s magic from the lagoon.
