Arrive on your own at your hotel on Lake Como and check in. In the afternoon, we suggest heading to Tremezzo to visit Villa Carlotta, one of the lake’s most renowned villas, celebrated for its elegant interiors and spectacular terraced gardens overlooking the water. Later, return to Moltrasio, near Como, and enjoy a welcome dinner in a small local restaurant before settling in for the night.

COMO, BELLAGIO, VILLA SERBELLONI, VILLA MELZI
Villa Gardens That Feel Like A Love Letter
After breakfast, take the ferry to Bellagio, known worldwide as the “Pearl of Lake Como” thanks to its position on the promontory between the lake’s Como and Lecco branches. Stroll through its charming lanes and consider visiting Villa Serbelloni, a historic villa set in a vast park, and Villa Melzi, a neoclassical residence surrounded by one of the first English‑style gardens in the area. On the return ferry to Como, enjoy magnificent views of the lake, mountains, and elegant lakeside villas (including the one owned by George Clooney). Head back to your hotel; dinner is on your own and overnight.

After breakfast, we recommend an excursion by car to Lugano, a romantic Swiss town set between the lake and the Alps (passport required). Enjoy time at leisure to stroll along the lakeside promenade, explore the historic center, and perhaps try a traditional cheese fondue for lunch. In the afternoon, continue exploring or visit the local casino. On the way back to Como, shopping enthusiasts can stop at the Foxtown outlet in Mendrisio, home to many top Italian and international brands. Return to your hotel in Moltrasio for an evening at leisure and overnight stay.

After breakfast and check‑out, transfer to Como to meet your local guide for a walking tour of the historic center. Discover the town’s main monuments, including its beautiful Cathedral, and learn about Como’s long silk‑making tradition. You’ll have time to browse the many boutiques and silk shops along the pedestrian streets and perhaps enjoy a light lunch or cappuccino at a café overlooking the lake. Your Lake Como stay concludes here, with the rest of the day free for onward travel.
