After breakfast, meet your guide for a half-day walking tour of Florence, one of the world’s greatest art cities. Admire the iconic Duomo with its red-tiled dome, the historic Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria, and the picturesque Ponte Vecchio spanning the Arno River. In the afternoon, explore Florence at your own pace—art lovers can visit the Uffizi Gallery to see masterpieces by Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci, or the Accademia Gallery to marvel at Michelangelo’s David. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the city’s many trattorias or wine bars before returning to your hotel for the night.
Begin your day with breakfast, then dive into Florence’s culinary traditions with a 3-hour hands-on cooking class at a reputable school in the city center. Under the guidance of an expert chef, you’ll learn how to prepare a selection of Italian and Tuscan specialties from scratch, then sit down to enjoy your creations for lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose how to spend your time: head up to Fiesole, a charming town in the hills above Florence offering one of the most spectacular panoramic views over the city, or opt for an excursion to Pisa to see the world-famous Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli (optional activities, not included). Return to your hotel in Florence for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel, marking the end of your Florence city break. If you have a free morning before departure, we recommend an optional guided tour of Florence’s artisan workshops, where you can discover traditional crafts such as leatherworking, goldsmithing, hand-decorated paper, and ceramics.
