Day 1

Romantic Verona to Dolomite Drama
Meet your group early morning at the designated meeting point in Milan’s historic center (or, if preferred, you may start directly from Verona—meeting details to be advised). Travel by motor coach to romantic Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet, for a walking tour through the historic center. See the lively Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra, dominated by Verona’s Arena—an intact Roman amphitheater still hosting major opera events and concerts. After lunch on your own, continue into the mountains toward Cortina d’Ampezzo, traveling through the scenic Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa and crossing Passo Pordoi. Stop briefly in Canazei, a charming destination framed by Dolomite peaks, before arriving in Cortina for an overnight surrounded by traditional Alpine atmosphere and warm hospitality.

After breakfast, spend the day immersed in the Dolomites’ iconic landscapes. Begin at Lake Misurina, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by dramatic peaks, then take in the unforgettable views of Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the legendary “Three Peaks.” Continue to Lake Braies, where turquoise waters glow against deep forest colors for one of the region’s most photogenic scenes. The day continues with a scenic drive through Val Pusteria and Val Badia, passing rolling hills and small mountain villages, before returning to Cortina via the Gardena and Giau Pass. Overnight in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, CANAZEI, LAKE CAREZZA, MERANO, BOLZANO
Passes and Pearls
After breakfast, depart Cortina and travel through a series of spectacular mountain passes toward Canazei. Drive through the Falzarego Pass between Val di Fassa and Val Gardena, enjoying sweeping views that include the Sassolungo massif. Stop at Lake Carezza, a postcard-perfect alpine lake famed for its vivid colors and mountain reflections. Continue to Merano, known for its Christmas markets, mild climate, thermal springs, and charming historic center. In the afternoon, reach Bolzano for a sightseeing tour of this northern city, including its Gothic Duomo and medieval old town. Overnight in Bolzano.
Day 4
BOLZANO, TRENTO, MILAN
Enchanting Castles and a Milan Return
After breakfast, continue to Trento, where you’ll visit the impressive Castle del Buon Consiglio, towering above the city and long associated with the House of Habsburg. You’ll also stop at Santa Maria Maggiore Church and the Geremia Palace before enjoying free time for lunch. Later, transfer back to Milan, where the tour and services conclude.
