Day 1

Check In, Then Live the Postcard
Arrival on your own in Manarola, one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO designated world heritage site. Check in at your apartment and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure in this picturesque small town.
Day 2
MANAROLA, RIOMAGGIORE, PORTOVENERE
Views, Vineyards Underfoot, Portovenere by Sea
Meet with your guide in the morning and walk to the village of Riomaggiore and go up to the Church of Montenero where you will be rewarded with unforgettable views over the coast. You and your guide will traverse terraced vineyards, ancient villages and chestnut groves, overlooking the sea and the cliff. Stop for a break to enjoy our packet lunch with bread, cheese and wine in the woods. You’ll also visit the medieval sea village of Portovenere, with its intriguing history and lovely center. At the end of the day return to your accommodation to Manarola for a good sleep’s rest.
Hiking Profile: 5-6 hours walk. The paths are narrow and include steep inclines. This tour is not for those who have difficulty walking without assistance. You will need to bring drinking water, sunscreen, wind jacket, hat and comfortable shoes.

You’ll enjoy a morning to yourself, relax watching the locals, shopping in the little stores or enjoy a few hours sunbathing on the beach. In the afternoon you will walk to a local vineyard for a wine tasting. The expert sommelier will guide through 4 wines and 3 olive oils, accompanied by paired snacks, as you learn about local winemaking, vineyard upkeep and local cuisine. Afterwards, you can take a short walk to the nearby village of Groppo or explore the other Cinque Terre villages with your Cinque Terre card. Overnight at your accommodation in Manarola.
