Once you finish dinner, we recommend taking a romantic stroll along the Tiber River, admiring the beauty of Rome in the moonlight. Stop at a gelateria to taste authentic gelato before leisurely making your way back to the hotel—the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Day 04: ROME
Enjoy a tasty breakfast at your hotel, then depart for the Vatican area where you will have a guided walking tour of the Vatican Museums. From historic Greek sculptures to the stunning frescoes of the Sistine Chapel, a trip to the Vatican is sure to impress. Once you finish your visit of the Basilica, spend some time in St. Peter’s Square before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Then consider a visit to Castel Sant’Angelo, the former Papal fortress, which is located along the Tiber River. The bridge just in front of the castle, which is lined with angel sculptures, is among the most beautiful in all of Rome. Later in the evening, stop by a trattoria for your final dinner in Rome.
