From Milan (or Verona) to Milan

TRAVEL ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MILAN, VERONA, CANAZEI, CORTINA D’AMPEZZO
Meet and greet with your group early in the morning at a designated meeting point in the historical center of Milan and by motor coach we will head to romantic Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet. There will be a walking tour that includes the main highlights of the historical center such as the old market square Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra with Verona’s Arena, an intact Roman amphitheater still in use today to host opera events and concerts. After lunch (not included), the tour will continue to Cortina D’Ampezzo, through the Val di Fiemme, Val di Fassa and Passo Pordoi (Pordoi Pass), passing by charming villages and breathtaking views and stopping for a short visit in Canazei, a beautiful tourist destination surrounded by the Dolomites. You'll spend the night in Cortina d’Ampezzo, enjoying the traditional Alpine atmosphere and warm hospitality of this world wide famous ski resort, host of the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Important note: Please be advised that it will be also possible start the tour directly from Verona, morning meeting point to be advised.

DAY 2: LAKE MISURINA, TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO, LAKE BRAIES, VAL PUSTERIA, VAL BADIA
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend an entire day soaking up the natural beauty of this area. The tour starts in Lake Misurina, a beautiful lake surrounded by the Dolomites, with beautiful views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, (the three peaks of Lavaredo). You'll continue on to Lake Braies, with unique turquoise blue waters offset by the deep colors of the forest surrounding it. The day will end by passing through the Val Pusteria and Val Badia, with rolling hills and little mountain villages and the Gardena and Giau Pass to return to Cortina d’Ampezzo where you will spend the night.

DAY 3: PASSO FALZAREGO, LAKE CAREZZA, MERANO, BOLZANO
You'll leave the hotel after breakfast, and travel through several beautiful passes before reaching the town of Canazei. You'll drive through the Falzarego Pass between Val di Fassa and Val Gardena where you'll admire beautiful views of the Sassolungo Mountain and the lovely Lake Carezza with its postcard perfect scenery. Then, you'll arrive in the characteristic town of Merano, home of the famous Christmas Markets. Merano is also well known for its mild climate and thermal hot springs as well as its charming historical town center. In the afternoon continue to city of Bolzano, a city at the crossroads of the Italian and German-Austrian cultures. Bolzano is the final destination of the day, where we'll take a sightseeing tour of this northern city, including the Gothic Duomo and the medieval city center. You'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in Bolzano.

DAY 4: BOLZANO, MERANO, TRENTO, MILAN
After breakfast, the tour continues on to the town of Trento and its Castel Del Buon Consiglio, a castle that dominates the town and is considered to be a symbol of the House of Habsburg. You'll also have the chance to admire other highlights of Trento including Santa Maria Maggiore Church and Geremia Palace. Free time for lunch and then say "Ciao" to this region as we transfer back to Milan, where the tour, and our services, will end.

Multi language escorted group tour with minimum 9 participants.
If less than 9 participants only private minivan with multilingual speaking Driver.
Due to technical and logistic reasons, the itinerary may be reversed or modified.
