Day 1
MONTEROSSO AL MARE, CINQUE TERRE
Arrival on your own in Monterosso al Mare, one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre National Park, UNESCO designated world heritage site. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2
TREKKING WITH GUIDE OF PALMARIA ISLAND, GULF OF POETS
Our tour guide will accompany you on today’s tour, as you travel by train to La Spezia, taking in the lovely scenery, before boarding the boat to the Island of Palmaria. You’ll enjoying trekking through the wilds of this island, finding the ruins of prisons, quarries and fortresses hidden amongst the strawberry trees. Our tour will then move to Portovenere, where you’ll take the boat back to Monterosso. Overnight at your Hotel in Monterosso.
Day 3
MONTEROSSO AL MARE, CINQUE TERRE
After breakfast at your Hotel, enjoy a whole day free to do as you please. You could relax sunbathing on beach, or touring the Cinque Terre National Park’s small villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, you by local train using your Cinque Terre Card (included) and walk along the scenic Via Dell’Amore, the “Love Path”. Perhaps you can also take a day trip to the famous Portofino (optional activities not included). The day is all yours!
