After settling into your room, enjoy time at leisure to relax or wander the small, beautiful center of Pollenzo. Your stay begins with a welcome drink and a guided wine tasting at the hotel’s renowned “Wine Bank,” setting the tone for a delicious journey through the region. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Pollenzo.

Day 2

ALBA, BAROLO, LA MORRA

Elegance, Shopping and Castle Tastings

After breakfast, set out by rental car for Alba, one of Piedmont’s most refined towns. Enjoy free time to wander its elegant center and browse local shops before lunch on your own at a restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, drive to Barolo for a guided tasting at the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, set inside the beautiful Castle of the Marchesi di Barolo—an unforgettable setting for discovering the wines that made this area famous. Afterward, enjoy time to stroll through Barolo, then continue to nearby La Morra, where we suggest visiting the Fratelli Ratti wine museum right in the center of town. Return to your hotel in Pollenzo later in the afternoon.

Day 3

LANGHE REGION, ALBA

Hill Villages and Castle Tours

After breakfast, enjoy a full day to explore the Langhe independently, driving your rental car at a relaxed pace through some of Piedmont’s most beautiful hill country. Pass through villages such as Monforte d’Alba and Roddino, then follow smaller country roads to Serralunga d’Alba, known for its striking castle. Here, you may choose to add a guided wine tasting at Tenimenti di Barolo and Fontanafredda, where you can discover exceptional local labels in a classic vineyard setting. Enjoy lunch on your own along the way, then continue through Sorano and Gallo d’Alba before climbing again to the Castle of Grinzane Cavour—a 13th-century manor house once home to a famed statesman and now associated with the Cavour literary prize. After time to visit, return to Pollenzo in the late afternoon.
