After breakfast, we will dedicate our time to discovering this region and its beauty. Morning guided visit of Assisi, exploring the city of Saint Francis. Lunch on your own in local restaurant. In the afternoon, we suggest a visit to Perugia, capital of Umbria, where you can stroll along Corso Vannucci, admiring elegant medieval palaces and enjoying a stop at one of the numerous cafès or bakeries offering their famous “Perugina” chocolate. Return to hotel with overnight stay.

MONTEFALCO, OLIVE OIL MILL, SPOLETO

From Panoramic Sips To Ancient Steps

Breakfast, departure for small, quaint hamlet of Montefalco. Morning visit of local olive oil mill with explanation of entire process, followed by a rich light lunch of samples matched to the mill’s oil. Suggested afternoon visit of Spoleto, splendid city of art, seat of the famous summer “Festival of Two Worlds”. In the outskirts of Spoleto, we will visit important cashmere outlets with time for shopping. Return to hotel, farewell dinner featuring local cuisine, overnight stay.

TORGIANO, DERUTA

A Day Of Cellars, Ceramics, And Charm

Breakfast at hotel. Suggested morning visit of Wine Museum in Torgiano, or the unique Ceramic Museum of Deruta. Strolling through Deruta, you can admire small laboratories of this antique craft, for which this city is famous. Conclusion of your stay in Umbria.
