Arrive in Turin, an elegant city framed by the Alps and known as Italy’s first capital as well as host of the 2006 Winter Olympics. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a welcome drink before meeting your guide for an afternoon walking tour of the refined historic center. Discover key landmarks such as Piazza Castello, Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Reale, the Cathedral, and the elegant Piazza San Carlo with its arcades and historic cafés. After the tour, enjoy free time to continue exploring at your own pace—be sure to try Turin’s iconic “Bicerin,” a traditional layered drink made with coffee, chocolate, and cream. Dinner is on your own, followed by an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, dedicate the day to discovering Turin’s rich cultural heritage. Visit the National Museum of Cinema, housed inside the iconic Mole Antonelliana, for a unique multimedia experience, and explore the Egyptian Museum, one of the most important collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Enjoy lunch on your own in one of Turin’s historic cafés, where you can soak up the city’s refined atmosphere. In the afternoon, stroll along Via Roma and the surrounding streets to shop for Italian fashion, design items, and the city’s famous chocolates. Dinner is at your leisure, and you’ll spend another night at your hotel in Turin.

TURIN, STUPINIGI PALACE, RIVOLI CASTLE, REGGIA DI VENARIA
A Day of Frescoes, Gardens, and Grandeur
Enjoy breakfast, then we recommend a day trip by rental car to explore the royal residences of the House of Savoy, the former kings of Italy. Start with the Palazzo di Caccia di Stupinigi, an impressive Baroque hunting lodge surrounded by parkland. Continue to Rivoli Castle, now home to a major museum of contemporary art, where historic architecture meets modern creativity. Be sure not to miss the Reggia di Venaria Reale, one of the largest royal palaces in the world, with its monumental halls and beautifully restored gardens. Return to Turin in the afternoon and get ready for a farewell dinner at an elegant restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional Piedmontese dishes. Overnight at your hotel.
