Casale Monferrato is located in Northwestern Italy about fifty miles away from Turin. Located on the southern bank of the Po River and neighbors the Monferrato hills which are an important wine yielding vineyards. The town center is an interesting sight for tourist revealing ancient courtyards and remnants of the past. Casale is known for its agricultural commercial and industrial activities. Casale Monferrato has managed to preserve much of the shape of the ancient walls of the city. During the spring months, the town host many exhibitions and fairs.
