Detailed itinerary:

You’ll disembark from your ship at the harbor and meet your tour guide before boarding a motor coach to commence the Ravenna and Faenza tour. You’ll first drive to the center of Ravenna, where you’ll be immersed in Roman and Byzantine history. Several UNESCO World Heritage monuments are part of the schedule, and you’ll visit the Galla Placidia mausoleum famed for its sky ceiling mural, as well.
Also on the itinerary are the Church of Santa Apollinare in Nuovo and the Piazza San Francesca. Of course, a trip to the grave of Danta Alighieri is also a popular portion of the tour. After this point, you’ll have leisure time and stop for a bite of lunch, before heading to Faenza, a city first built by the Romans.
The main claim to fame for Faenza is the city’s amazing ceramics industry. The industry dates back centuries, and has had an impact throughout the world. The city is also a melting pot of different cultures, thanks to its location between Padania and Tuscany. You’ll visit famous ceramics manufactories, as well as the historic town center. Here, you’ll see the cathedral, which was built in 1474 and is one of the area’s most famous architectural sites. While the city is rich in Tuscan Renaissance art and architecture, you’ll see a considerable amount of baroque construction as well – a legacy of the most recent construction trends in town.
To wrap up your tour, you’ll visit the clock tower, the Palazzo del Comune and the Palazzo del Podesta, before traveling back to board your ship once more.
