Detailed itinerary:

This daylong tour offers a full 8.3 hours of enjoyment while you explore three of the most amazing cities in Italy. You’ll board a motorboat for a leisurely cruse along the Italian Riviera, as you make your way to your first stop, Santa Margherita. Here, you’ll board a coach for the city of Genoa. During the drive, you’ll enjoy scenic views of the coast; quaint villages nestled in the hills, and the beautiful Italian countryside
When you enter Genoa, the first area of interest you’ll encounter will be Columbus’ house. From there, you’ll move on to the Palazzo San Giorgio with a panoramic drive through the city. For the best pictures, make sure you visit the top of Castelletto Hill.
Now it’s time to explore the city of Genoa on foot. You’ll first head to the Cathedral di San Lorenzo, located in the heart of old town Genoa. It’s one of the most beautiful churches in Italy, thanks in large part to the white marble and black slate construction. Your tour continues on to the Piazza de Ferrari, where you’ll find shopping and dining options galore.
No visit to Genoa is complete without seeing the Ducal Palace. Your tour will take you into the palace and the courtyard, which has been transformed into a place of shopping, dining and relaxation, with plenty to see and do. You’ll leave the city of Genoa behind after this and move on to Rapallo, where you’ll get to stroll along the twisting streets and see the Castle on the Sea, which guards the entrance to Rapallo’s harbor.
Here, you’ll enjoy lunch and then return to Santa Margherita for additional free time to explore the city before finally ending your tour where you started in Portofino.
