Day 01: OUT-BOUND FLIGHT
Board your overnight flight to Venice.
Day 02: VENICE
Arrive in Venice. Transfer on your own (optional water taxi service available through Trips2Italy, please ask your travel specialist for details). Check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to relax and get acquainted with this enchanting city.
Day 03: VENICE
After a good and healthy Italian Breakfast, get ready to discover the architectural and artistic beauty of Venice. You will have plenty of time at leisure to stroll through the "calle" (narrow typical streets) and numerous canals, book a Half Day guided walking tour of Venice (ask your Trips2Italy travel specialist for details) for an exploration of the historical center of the city and its magnificent monuments: St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Ducal Palace, the Prisons, the Bridge of Sighs. Perhaps take time to shop in the crafters’ boutiques and enjoy a great meal of fresh seafood.
Day 04: VENICE
Breakfast at the hotel and off again! You may take an excursion to Murano Island and visit a Glass workshop to learn how the local Artisans create a unique piece of Glass art or visit the colorful Burano Island renowned for its lace making. You can also continue your discovery of Venice and its artistic wonders, visit the Fine Art Academy or the Guggenheim Museum. Before dinner, don't forget to enjoy an authentic bellini for the "apperitivo".
Day 05: VENICE
Enjoy your last breakfast in Venice. After breakfast join the locals around the Rialto Market, a daily lively food market on the boats. Get lost though the tiny calle, where you are sure to find more hidden treasures of this mysterious and unique city. In the afternoon, give farewell to this romantic city riding a typical gondola for the best views of the canals and wonderful historic buildings.
Day 06: RETURN FLIGHT
Transfer to Venice airport for your return flight to home.
