This three hour tour walks you through the history and insight of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Church while discovering some secrets of the Vatican. The sheer size and magnificence of the Vatican can both attract and overwhelm the average traveler. Our guide will walk you through the major attractions, and some lesser known spots while giving you a broad base for understanding the art, history and politics behind this monumental site. However, not all that glitters is gold, and this also applies to the Vatican. Tales of lust, deceit and murder stalk these hallowed halls, our guide will make sure you get a taste of all the beauty and hidden dirt.
Please note: On Wednesday morning there is the possibility that we cannot include St. Peter's Basilica into this tour due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter's Basilica could be closed. As an alternative clients will be offered an extended itinerary within the Vatican Museums, which still includes the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms.
