A traditional appointment with the handicraft and ancient traditions of Aosta and the whole region is the millenarian Fair of Sant'Orso, organized since year 1000, which takes place in the end of January.

For two days, thousand craftsmen and as many visitors invade the streets of Aosta, enjoying the best of the region's typical handicraft production: from wood sculpture to wrought iron, from the objects in ollare stone to leather ones, from natural fabrics to home furniture, from ancient work tools to children toys. 

According to local belief, the purchase of an object during the fair brings good luck for all the year.
