Notes: The tour DOES NOT INCLUDE the 20 euro entrance fees per person to be paid to the tour guide at the beginning of the tour by cash. (14 euros for students under 26 yrs old with a valid ISIC Card). On Wednesday morning there is the possibility that the St. Peter's Basilica will be closed due to the weekly Papal Audience.

Detailed itinerary:

This three hour tour takes you into the history and gossip of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Church. The sheer size and magnificence of the Vatican can both attract and overwhelm the average traveler. Our guide will walk you through the major attractions, and some lesser known spots, and give you a broad base for understanding the art, history and politics behind the beauty. However, not all that glitters is gold, and that point is not lost in the Vatican. Tales of lust, deceit and murder stalk these hallowed halls, and our guide will make sure you get a taste of all the beauty, and hidden dirt.

Please note: On Wednesday morning there is the possibility that we cannot include St. Peter's Basilica into this tour due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter's Basilica could be closed. As an alternative clients will be offered an extended itinerary within the Vatican Museums, which still includes the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms.
