Detailed itinerary:

Get away from the city with a tour of the Roman countryside! We’ll take you through the surrounding hillsides of Rome and tour the medieval towns and volcanic lakes. Past the Caracalla roman baths, along the Appian Way,  we’ll stop at Castelgandolfo, summer home to the Popes,on the shore of the Lake Albano and continue on to the town of Albano, thought to be the birthplace of the mythical founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. The picturesque towns of Ariccia and Genzano, with its flower carnival, will delight you next, as we make our way to Nemi, where fields of wild strawberries grow around the “Mirror of Goddes Diana”, an enchanting lake. The tour then continues down the Via dei Laghi to Rocca di Papa, Grottaferrata, and Frascati, where we’ll stop for a wine tasting. Return to your hotel or the nearby drop off point.
