Shop as the Florentines do, in this guided tasting tour of the Mercato Centrale (the central market) at San Lorenzo! Our chef will accompany you to this colorful market, where you'll learn how to choose the ripest fruits and vegetables for your meals. As you wander amongst the locals, you'll taste fresh cheeses, salamis, olive oils and Chianti wine, and learn about the local products and the Tuscan gastronomy. This is a marvelous way to get a feel for the real Florence, away from the hordes of tourists and indulging yourself in the Italian food specialties.
