TRAVEL ITINERARY: 

Day 1: FLORENCE 
At your arrival at Florence airport or Florence train station you will meet with your private driver and transfer you to your 4 Star hotel, located near the Ponte Vecchio. After you've had a time to relax, you'll meet with your hostess and enjoy a walk in the historical center of Florence. You'll visit an “oleoteca”, a shop that specializes in olive oils, and taste a selection of their golden products before enjoying dinner in a ristorante favored by the Florentines.
Overnight in Florence.

Day 2: FLORENCE 
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend a day on guided sightseeing walking tours. The morning will find you visiting the Sant'Ambrogio market, Florence's oldest food market, where you'll experience shopping in the Italian style. Sights and smells of the fresh produce, artisan cheeses and salamis, and fresh flowers will intoxicate you, preparing you for a traditional light lunch in a typical osteria. In the afternoon, you'll tour the major monuments of the historic center of Florence. The Duomo conceals artistic masterpieces under Bruneschelli's massive dome and connects to a Baptistery with carved bronze doors. Piazza Della Signora is an open air museum, with statues of mythic proportions keeping watch over the crowds. All of these treasures, plus the churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce, will be shown to you. Dinner will be on your own, and overnight in Florence.

Day 3: FLORENCE, CINQUE TERRE 
You'll have breakfast, and meet your private driver for your transfer to the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO world heritage site, passing through the rolling Tuscan hillside to the Ligurian coast. You'll stop in Portovenere, a picturesque seaside town, and board a water taxi, to reach one of the most beautiful restaurants on the sea and one of the best seafood in Liguria. After this delicious lunch you will continue towards your 3 star hotel in Monterosso al Mare, one of the villages that make up the Cinque Terre. You'll be delighted with the sea views afforded by your room, and the fun atmosphere of the town. The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure, and dinner will be on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Cinque Terre.

Day 4: CINQUE TERRE 
In the morning, you'll meet with your private guide for a half day guided tour of the walking paths of the Cinque Terre. These paths were once the only way to reach these villages, until the recently. Traveling from Monterosso al Mare to Vernazza and Manarola, this easy walk will reveal the simple glories of the landscapes, from the traditional terraced farming methods to the sea, dotted with fishermen's boats. A light lunch will be enjoyed in an osteria, where you'll savor regional Ligurian delights, such as olives, anchovies, and focaccia Ligure. In the afternoon, you'll return to the hotel for your cooking lesson of pesto alla Genovese and pesce spada all Ligure. You'll be eating your works for dinner, so follow the directions carefully! Overnight at your hotel in Cinque Terre.

Day 5: PORTOFINO 

After breakfast, you'll take the train to Santa Margherita Ligure and take public transportation to Portofino. The rest of the day will be spent exploring this glamorous resort town on your own. Playground to celebrities and royalty, there's no telling who you might see. You may decide to enjoy the day shopping in the boutiques, touring the narrow alleys, or enjoying a boat trip. We'll prepare you with our advice on enjoying the town, from the secret shops and restaurants that tourists overlook, to the best viewpoints and hidden beauties. You'll return to the hotel for the night. Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Cinque Terre.

Day 6: CINQUE TERRE 
The first part of the day will be spent in a tour on the public boat to Riomaggiore, another jewel of the Cinque Terre. Dating back from the 13th century, this lovely town will delight you with its charming candy colored homes and boats. Lunch will be on your own, before return to your hotel and start the cooking class at the hotel. You'll be making zuppa di pesce and orata al cartoccio for dinner, enjoying a final night of Mediterranean paradise.

Day 7: CINQUE TERRE, FLORENCE
In the morning, you'll depart with a private transfer from the hotel and return to the airport in Florence, where our services will end.
