ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrival by your own car at Pollenzo and accommodation at the lovely ALBERGO DELL′AGENZIA, located in the Langhe region, not far from Alba. Accomodation in your room and time you your own to relax and visit the beautiful centre of the small Pollenzo. Welcome drink. A guided wine tasting at the "Wine bank" of the Hotel will be organized just for you. Dinner at the elegant hotel′s restaurant is suggested. Overnight stay

Day 2
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure by your car for Alba and time on your own to discover this beautiful and elegant town, its centre and have some shopping. Lunch on your own in a local restaurant. In the afternoon transfer to Barolo and guided wine tasting at the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo located inside the beautiful Castle of Marchesi di Barolo. After the visit and tasting time to stroll in Barolo. We suggest to spend the rest of the afternoon in La Morra, not far from Barolo, and visit the nice wine museum of Fratelli Ratti, just in the centre of the town. Back to the Hotel late in the afternoon and overnight stay.

Day 3
Breakfast at the Hotel. We suggest a fd excursion by car in the langhe Region. After passing through the hill villages of Monforte d′Alba and Roddino, turn along the small carriage road to Serralunga d′Alba with its beautiful castle. Here it will be possible a guided wine tasting at the Tenimenti di Barolo and Fontanafredda, where you can discover great wines. Lunch on your own along the way in one of the many nice restaurants. Then go down to Sorano and Gallo d′Alba, and then up again to the characteristic Castle of Grinzane Cavour, the 13th century manor house that was home to the famous Piedmontese statesman and which houses the Cavour literary prize. Time on your own for visiting the castle and returning Hote late in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 4
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for your next destination. We suggest to match this package with our "a Taste of Piedmont" or "a Taste of Cinque Terre".
