ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrival of participants and check in to hotel. Free time for getting acquainted with the beautiful area where the hotel is located. A walk in the town of San Gimignano is a must. Dinner on your own and overnight.

Day 2
After breakfast meet with the nature expert guide. Bicyles are delivered and transfer into a splendid area of Siena known as the "Crete Senesi", where there will be a guided tour of average difficulty. The excursion takes place along one of the scenic routes that is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Stop off to visit the splendid Benedictine Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore and free time. At the abbey you can visit the ancient herbalist shop situated inside the abbey and run by the Benedictine monks. Continue the tour with a picnic lunch en route. Return to hotel late afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight stay.

Day 3
After breakfast departure from the Hotel for a walking tour in the Val d'Elsa area, discovering amazing places around San Gimignano. You will stop visiting small churches and lovely castles and your guide will make you enjoy the tour with a delicious pic nic lunch based on traditional food, sitting up on a hill where you will admire the breathtaking landscape.

Day 4
Breakfast and beginning of your cooking session. All the participants will have the chance to take part in a Tuscan cooking lesson held by a professional English speaking chef. The lesson will be followed by lunch that ends up as a feast among old friends. After lunch you can spend some time exploring the areas surrounding Siena, such as the Chianti region or the Orcia valley. This time you will travel by your own cars in complete autonomy. End of the tour.
