Our itinerary’s suggestion:
Day 1
Board your overnight flight to Rome
Day 2 - Rome
Arrive in Rome, Italy
On your arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport you are transferred to your hotel. Check into your hotel. Then you are free to relax and get acquainted with this ancient city.
Day 3 - Rome
After a good and healthy Italian Breakfast, the day begin with a Half Day guided city tour where a local guide will take on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Navona Square. Then by coach, passing alongside Castel Sant’Angelo the guide will take you to the Basilica of St. Peter where you can admire one of Michelangelo's magnificent works of art, "la Pietà" and St. Peter's Basilica. Then you are free to shop and enjoy city sightseeing.
Day 4/5 - Rome
After your breakfasts you will have a lot of occasions to sightsee, shop, take side trips, visit museums, or just relax. We can name just a few among the countless opportunities: walk along the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, walk down the Spanish Steps and, for lovers of fashion end in Via Condotti, the fashionable, elegant street facing the Spanish Steps, or find a good deal in one of the many outdoor markets.
For art lovers you can discover the treasures of the Vatican Museums and the breathtaking visit of the Sistine Chapel.
Day 6/9 - Amalfi Coast
Journey south by train to the Amalfi Coast for a 4-night stay in the enchanting Sorrento with stunning vistas of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy free time to explore the island of Capri and the ruins of Pompeii. Spend a day discovering the city of Naples and its inhabitants at the bottom of the Vesuvius Vulcan.
Day 10 - Rome
Return to Rome by train and stay overnight at a Hotel.
Day 11
Transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport for your return flight to America.
