Detailed itinerary:

Enjoy some of the world’s best art on our Vatican tour, and some of the Ancient Rome’s most famous sites. You’ll see works of the most famous artists and sculptors the world has ever known as you walk through the sacred halls of the Vatican Museum. The Candelabra Gallery, Tapestry Gallery and Map Gallery highlight historical works, while the Raphael Rooms were entirely frescoed by the Master. Be sure to look up in the Sistine Chapel, and view the magnificent work of Michelangelo’s Genesis and Last Judgment. After lunch, we’ll continue on our tour that will bring us to discover the Ancient Rome. Passing the Quirinale Square, home of the Presidential Palace, we will reach Piazza Venezia dominated by the imposing Vittoriano Monument. We will walk to the Capitol to admire its unique combination of art and history. The tour will continue on to the Roman Forum (visit from outside), home of some of the most famous Roman archeological ruins and stop at the Colosseum (visit from outside). We’ll then board the bus to visit St. Paul’s Outside The Walls Church, passing the Piramide Cestia. This famous church is the burial spot of St. Paul the Apostle. Return to your hotel or the nearby drop off point.
