International mountain film festival, April

This is the oldest mountain film festival in the world, and covers mountaineering, exploration, alpine trekking and cultural aspects linked to the mountains. Includes book sales, antiques and bric-a-brac, photo and stamps exhibitions, literary competitions, and alpine events.

Gardens in town, May, June

Trento is transformed into a colorful garden. Town gardeners and visiting gardeners sent by many towns in Italy and abroad set up green areas for the joy of the passers-by, each with its own theme. Flowers and shrubs abound and children are allowed to play there. The event also includes special exhibitions connected with gardening and nature.
